Well, if we start a group - Aberdeen mile and get folk to join that. I'm happy to contact the sports village to find out about hiring or booking time. Once we know how many we can start bandying dates about. Would 2nd week in Nov be any use ie after halloween. guy fawkes as I know parents get fully allocated around that time? Totally agree about not competing with Scottish mile. Folk who can travel can do both if they can.

when you contact sports village ask how much it would be for uni staff to hire the track, the other option is using the track at balgownie which is free but not in great condition |

cheers, aye I did a quick lap round the Balgownie track on my run tonight and it's a bit patchy and uneven. Very exposed wrt wind too. Thanks, I'll ask about who gets it cheapest as Im sure we'll have a council member etc amongst us. Thanks

OK, I'm back but I think Nywanda is doing a good job at organising this! I'm happy with Sat 13th Nov. What do people think? Can't do weekend after as that's Fraserburgh Half and I need to taper since I'm attempting a PB. How about Frankie and Bennys for food afterwards? I take it kids are invited? We could get them to do a mile? *Goes off to join group* |

13th is good for me. I may have kids in tow as well, although they would be well up for running it.
