A cold has started a few days before a marathon.... what is best?

geordiegirlI did the run, thankfully the cold symptoms never developed further and by the day itself I woke feeling rather ok. I did enjoy the race, it was stunning but despite the downward profile it was a killer on my already tired legs and my feet really don't like road runs. But a 6.29m PB I will take. And I may be back in the future to attempt to smash that too.
I am feeling it now though, but its been a big year race wise for me so now going to have some time off to fully rest and recover then I'll start again next year with probably only one or two target races. Thanks all.
Good luck for your marathon jda, hope you're feeling better.
