Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

good luck racers have a great day :)

we have had hard frost the last few mornings, I fear that the forecasts of a long hard winter may be coming true :( During the last one a lot of running had to be done on the treadmill because the paths were icy a lot of the time. Still haven't signed up for the Edinburgh marathon because I am not convinced I will get in all the long runs if we have snow from November to March like before... Is it actually humanly possible to run for over 10 miles on a treadmill I wonder, and also wonder if the gym would think I was taking the wee and chuck me out for attempting it when there are lots of people wanting to walk on them for half an hour...

Morning peeps :) Are we going for ballerinas for HITM then? Has anyone actually entered yet??
I have a longish run scheduled for this afternoon so I hope the sunshine lasts. jacs I managed last year with trail shoes in the ice & slush - didn't miss a single run on the plan despite all the snow.

Molesy - 45 sleeps until Christmas
I got a pair of these icegripper.co.uk last winter and they were excellent. I even left them on when I got to roads where the snow had been cleared without any problems.

Not ballerinas, big fat gypsy brides I think? Though white tutus are appropriate for both really :)
Shall I start a thread? I'll start a thread.

Ok, I made a thread. I haven't actually found out what I'll be wearing to Hell Down South in January yet so this seems a bit previous, but failing to plan etc etc, and hotels are always cheaper booked early!

Good work Fleecy!
Back from 12 miles, really is stunning out there. I made the decision early on to take the wettest muddiest route I could find, tis good for the soul!

Your own mini hell runner there, WR? :) Since you can't avoid mud and puddles at this time of year you may as well embrace it I reckon :)
