Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

*waves at everyone*

I'm here! I believe John is still at the cinema with his kids. Doubt he stayed awake - we went to the pub after the race.

I really like this race and it was made all the better this year by lots of lovely Fetchie company. Not sure what my time was yet (about 58mins I think) as I obeyed the rules of running with Footpad pacing - no Garmin. No Thor! :-O
To be honest it was nice to run not worrying about a PB or time.

Have to admit my knee and foot are screaming at me now but I had a really lovely day :-)

Well done Bint. Running nekkid :-0 I don't think I could do that....... couldn't you just have it on Heart Rate or ....... something. You need Garmin to claim conquercise zones ......

*goes into a bit of a panic*
*makes note not to run with Footpad*

It was actually very liberating. Not worth the effort for central London conquercise zones so no worries there!

Footpad had said he would pace people to a sub 60 and I knew a PB was out of the question given the injuries and lack of training so it seemed like a good idea to hang out with some fetchies whilst still knowing if I stuck with Footpad it would be over in less than an hour. The official results don't go up until tomorrow though so I'm sat here itching to add my time/training. That's where Thor would have come in handy. And I think I might have run a negative split which would be fab.

I shall swim tomorrow and maybe do a session on Monty then Wednesday is the day I have told myself I *must* go out on Bambi. Definitely won't run. Will decide whether or not to do the Beckenham 10k on Sunday nearer the time.

Well done Bint :-) haven't we all done well this weekend with running and socialising - think we all ended our races with a pub visit.

I've had a good wee night - boys said the show was amazing - so am basking in my good mum glow - edinburgh is a funny place - the ex said its full of soap dodgers :-0. Think we were in the touristy/bohemian end rather than the posh end
