I've been out of the loop for a while but a new event for our local carnival weekend is offering a 5K with some trimmings for £20, plus 6% online booking fee, which strikes me as a bit rich. resultsbase.net

becca7 Jan 2019 5:04pm, 22 Jan 2019 7,810 posts	Quote Pin becca7 Chip time and closed roads are expensive and I'm not sure that it being a short race helps much aside from the roads are not open for as long. It's a similar price to Doncaster 5km, which is also chip and closed roads.

Actually it will be a total nightmare, getting everyone out if the way for the parade is hard enough. And they are encouraging people to walk it so.... Chaos will ensue.
