Another 11 for me today, that leaves me 17 away from 1,600, but I'm not tempted....

Definitely two days off and start the New Year with renewed vigor.

Im planning on a longish run tonight on the roads. First time the weather has been good enough for running.

Entered my first marathon for 2010 this morning which I had not planned at all. Only Belfast which is very local to me. 17weeks from yesterday so I might go for the longer plan this time.

Bit of advice - Would 3weeks be too soon to do my first 20mile run?

What is oyur long run at the moment? All depends on what you feel comfortable with I guess, is your body?

Hey everybody, what's going on? I've been away from Fetch with an injury for a couple of months but on the comeback trail now. Just got the 1500 mile target today :) :)

Well done Tony x
Thanks Zoom for all the hard work with this thread this year and keeping us all in check.

Sorry not to be able to make my target, and yet I was doing so well until half-way through the year.

Ah well, I've resigned myself to doing 1500 in 2010 now......see you all on the other side.

Thanks Jobe, good luck on hitting the target in 2010.

Thank you Zoom for the work you put in, you Fetch-stalking each week and themed lists have helped to keep to keep us all motivated. Whoever takes over next year will have a hard act to follow.

I see there is 1500 miles in 2010 thread running, I'm going for it and joining the 2000 miles in 2010 thread though - not sure I can get there but it's about the journey not the destination, right?

Good luck with the 2000 mile target Tony.

I am taking over the 1500 mile group this year, realise Zoom done a great job but having decided to do it this year have a few tricks up my sleeve that I think will keep us all on our toes.

Just out of interest, I grew up in Southampton, what sort of places do you run? You do much in the forest?

Jobe I am sure you will do it next year, come and introduce yourself in the new thread and join the group...

Hey terminator, good luck with the 1500 group in 2010, I will lurk on here and may come back in a couple of months with my woolly hat in my hand and ask if I can rejoin.

I live very near to Southampton Common so go straight out of the door in that direction most of the time. Grew up in the New Forest though and head over there quite a lot. Whereabouts did you grow up?
