Sport in Action Carlisle Resolution 10k, alternative course due to road works. Good to get this year's racing kicked off.
Roads greasy (as if they'd been buttered) where the tarmac was smooth and some of the wee roads were muddy. Glad my shoes weren't new. Cold. Shivering on the start line, and couldn't feel my toes for the first few miles.

Thanks, riggys99 :) Conditions could have been worse; I've run that race when there was ice underfoot, and when it was so wet and windy that a lot of those of us who weren't at the sharp end were in full waterproofs.

Thanks :) It's a very negative-splittable course, up for the first half and down for the second half, and most of the head wind was also in the first half.
