Wed July 27 2005
7 Entrants Club PB SB Pred Time WAVA
Too Much Water Not as quick as last time (course was very waterlogged) but beat Gra to go 3-2 up in our race series.

Unaffiliated 35:05 37:13 48:11 44.26
GAZGIB Started off slow & steady as my piriformis was aching and I didn't fancy the hills. But after the last hill tanked it for the remainder of the course and surprised myself with my quickest time of the three races.
Did anyone fall in the ditch? Bracknell Forest Runners 33:32 34:58 46:07 46.64

Waveydavey It had been raining all day and the course was muddier than the previous two races. Considering that and having spent the weekend on a stag do I was reasonably pleased with my performance if not with the time. I finished in my highest position in this event this year and there were over 200 finishers - which I believe is a first for this event.

A friend measured the coarse on his detailed orienteering map and concurs with Woj that the course distance is 5.9 miles. Reading Roadrunners 32:58 33:10 42:42 42:51 51.55
