Abingdon Marathon
So this was my A-Race for the 2013 season and all those long hours of hard training culminated in these 42.2kms and what a race I had.
Perfect pacing and a lot of due-diligence led me to have a fantastic race in the rain, drizzle and sunshine and smash my previous PB by nearly 30 mins.
I felt strong the whole way round and definitely stronger than a lot of people in the latter stages of the race.
Chuffed to bits with my performance.
