nearly stopped on first down a quads were cramping/straining. this pain eased off after 10 mins. Steadily went past people in the first couple of miles. After that I passed 2 people just after half way but was passed on the penultimate climb. I took him on the stairs going down but he soon passed me on the way up as he was able to run them.

Definitely the hardest half I've done.
