Notes & Comments
Long Sunday Run.
My longest run in quite some time. Over 2 hours on such a beautiful day. I particularly enjoyed the section in Possil Wildlife Marsh and along the canal to the Briggs, lot of flowers, butterflies and birds chirping away.
Route up to Bishopbriggs via Pinkston, Speirs Wharf, along canal through Maryhill all the way to the Briggs. Then along Stirling Drive, through the park to Kirky Road, along to Colston then the climb up Balgrayhill Rd, cut into Springburn Park, did a small circuit round the pond and exited other end of the park. Down Syriam Street, then down again all the the way to Petershill Road then through the Blind Tunnel to Germiston and back home from there.
.
I felt it in the legs in the last two miles, however dug deep. Has to be done to get the endurance back.
Actual running time as per watch, 2:07:40.
