Round Reading Ultra Marathon (RRUM) 50k (4th)

My first trail ultra and I got thiiiiis close to a podium finish. Finished third of the peeps who started at 6am but we were all blitzed by someone that started at 8. My position and time, along with the guy that ended up third overall, would have been ~10min quicker and ahead of the 2nd place finisher had we not suffered from a big of backtracking thanks to unclear signage around the 2nd checkpoint.

Still pretty pleased with myself as this wasn't a race I'd planned on racing and certainly didn't taper for. Think I may be back next year for another, more concerted go at it as I won't be running Comrades.
