Andover parkrun 206/221

It was another cold, sunny day that warmed up significantly when I got moving. Not that I managed that very well. Thursday evening's Pilates-glutes-session-from-Hell was still firmly embedded in my backside. A bit of a bum deal, you might say.

Anyway, after a nearly stationary warmup round the track, I started the actual parkrun gently with Ian, who was nursing a tight calf. After around ¾ of a lap like that, I realised I ought to be catching Jeremy up, who needed to be away promptly. It took over a lap to do that and I allowed myself to overshoot slightly (thinking his grippy inov-8s would be doing a better job on the muddy grass than my racing slicks).

"Oh, look!" said a lady to her child, "we've been overtaken by an Idiot!" In the absence of sandals, I'm assuming she was just reading the shirt.
