Notes & Comments

First run with Kinross Road Runners. Both of them! There were just 4 people meeting at Lathro health centre car park. I was a bit late. 15 mins drive, but made MrsS(rrr) a cup o tea and put dog out before leaving, so a bit late. I don't like being late. But as it happened it was fine because they were already there and weren't in a hurry. Norman? and a lady went off for a hill run, but I didn't have my trail stuff. Paul A and Sarah H were up for a flatter run. 10 or 12 miles they said (I had thought 6 or 8, but no matter). Was a bit worried when they said normally run about 8 min/ mile, but was all OK. Lovely route. I didn't really know where we were, but bits of quiet road, trail and then back on to Loch Leven path, base of West Lomond? past Wester Balgeddie pub, past the Loch Leven Larder and back via the park and through town. They have loads more routes, hills and trail. Beautiful morning, great chat. I'll def join. :-) G
