West End 8 - good race - perhaps started a bit too steady - although the first 4.5 miles are mainly uphill, with a particularly steep climb around the 4 mile mark. At 5 miles had a 30s gap to try and close on team-mate who was in the 3rd position for the club (3 to count in team prize). Just left myself too much to do and was 12s behind in the end! 20th overall I think. Our club 3rd, 8th, 16th and 20th... We are now leading the LRRL with 4 rounds to go - come on the mighty OWLS - aim to be the world's greatest club by 2010 - they may not even win their local road running league - come on!!! Splits: 6.07, 6.10, 5.53, 6.04, 6.13, 5.45, 5.46, 5.48 - good negative split there (1st 4m 24.14 - 2nd 4m 23.32)
