Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Berkeley power station 20 miler ?/?

Drove up and knee was sore from waking up which was concerning did a short warm up and still uncomfortable and considered calling it there to avoid causing any damage but decided I would run for 20 mins and see if settled which thankfully it did. Then felt quite good when knee movement was more free. Not a huge field so although had couple to work off the whole of second half of race was a lonely affair although did overtake a bloke with about 3 km to go.

Legs felt quite good until 15 miles when everything became harder along with a headwind slowed down somewhat but nothing too drastic and really surprised with the outcome. Is a quicker course than last year's 20 miler so think it's a fairly comparable effort but with physical week in work and knee issue a great result....just need to shake off knee pain (sore since) and maybe I have a chance at London.

Great result Pete, sounds like if the body holds up you'll be in great shape for the Marathon.
