controversial Pretty bad race, arrived too late at the race, started too fast, was too cold, was too hilly! The oly good point is that a screwed up a race that didn't matter! Clapham Chasers 34:01 36:29 38:00 39:03 67.71
Mal A good improvement over the January race. Started off really nicely, but couldn't sustain the pace, and was again suffering badly on the last lap. I wasn't injured or ill when I finished though, so a good springboard for Reading half marathon Barnes Runners, Horsham Joggers 39:41 40:47 41:00 42:17 62.44
Left Foot I ran way too safely, then didn't really have the guts to push for a fast final lap. Realized when I did a very comfortable sprint finish that I could have worked at least 10% harder. (I also thought I got this in under 47, but then I did take a while to start my watch...longer than I realized) On the positive side, I came 15th out of 118 women and 4th in FV35 age group so that is some consolation.
