Mountainmat The Notts 5 will be my 50th race. Ran three seconds outside my pb in the hilly Worthington 5 so really hoping to pb here, but I seem so inconsistant at the moment.......Lovely flat course, a tad too humid, but still a 2 second PB.

runForestfanrun A rare, but welcome, mid-week event, marred by some little f#ckers chucking stones at passing runners, one missed my head by about a foot and hit me on the hand. I was in a dilemma whether to press on and go for the PB that I'd desperately wanted to achieve or turn back and give the little sh!ts a good shoeing. I chose the former but it wasn't to be, I probably went off too fast at the start but those little b@stards played on my mind for the rest of the race which didn't help. I'll be back next year and should the situation arise I will be making the CORRECT choice next time!!!
