btr_beri 52:20 a new PB. I've taken this distance from my Garmin, as the race was nearly half a km out. Very disappointed with this as it seemed such a proffesional event. the Garmin normally over measures by a little bit, but never more than .05. I've taken my time straight off the Garmin, so am very pleased. Unaffiliated 52:20 52:20 52:20 50.45
Gregski number 557 warm breezy day. testing calf after strain last week, and expected to run 55 mins if lucky. felt great after 2 warm up miles at 8.5 min pace, so gently increased to last mile 7 min pace. good training session. Unaffiliated 49:11 49:11 47:00 49:11 54.96
Hills of Death (HOD) I clocked 43.59 at 10k unfortunately the 'organisers' measured the course long 10.62 k so it's bollox. Hey just seen result 44.43 :) Barnet & District AC, Riverside Runners 44:43 44:43 42:59 44:43 60.45
Rach E Second place. Slowest 10k for two years but the course was WAY long, it was windy and there were too many hairpins. Not sure why they couldn't just run the race around the lake rather than what they did. I'm sure there was a good reason though...
