swift8 First time I've ran over 12km and for that matter for more than an hour. After very little training due to an injury that took 8 weeks to clear up and a nasty cold just two weeks beforehand, I wasn't feeling overly confident that I'd even finish. In the end, the crowds kept my spirits up and my running partner kept my mind off the kms (that seemed to be going by painfully slowly).
