Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

    Dave A: Stream/river/puddle/sea/don't bother

Ellem: Don't bother, we'll be getting very muddy at Devilla next weekend :-)
  • 15th Feb 2013 at 7:14pm
Red Squirrel: I rinse mine in the stream near my flat on the way back from runs.

Pedro_Perez: I second Dave A comment, I find a stream a mile or so from home and stick my feet in t or I just don't bother. The mud soon drops off on your next run if left to dry.

Your not going to be going for a job interview in them so why bother keeping them nice and clean?!? So long as they are dry for my next run...... Its worth having a couple of pairs on the go at the same time.

Cat the Dog: I'll stick em under the tap then! Don't mind muddy shoes but these are just a tad crusty for my liking...don't think I'll be invited to join any trail running clubs soon. Admitting I want to clean my trainers may be a big no-no ;-) especially my pink ones!

Johnny Blaze: Cold water tap. Dirty trainers are a badge of honour, anyway.

Muddie: I don't like the crusty feeling you get when the mud's left to dry. Rinse under tap. Then unblock sink.
