Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Snoot: We had one of those compendium of games but was only born in ‘66!

Velociraptor: We had several over the years. They were a festive fixture, and over the year all the dice and counters would get lost and the boards would get torn and they'd be replaced by a new set.

Rosehip: I had a tractor and trailer very much like that one

mulbs: I love lots about this picture, the woolly outfit, I bet those shoes were Startrite, your family used to do the same as mine and your presents would look like a shop window display - no wrapping paper in sight - and I adore the tea and coffee set nestling in the background

Velociraptor: The presents would have been wrapped originally, but then restaged for the photo. And yes, my shoes would have been Start-Rite. Maybe that's why I have trouble-free feet all those years later.
