Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I believe in Sharktopus. Which is why despite a 10 and a 7 miler earlier in the week, I feel guilty for skipping tonight's planned 3 😄

Well remembered Linds. I did the August marathon. there was a long stretch of towpath with pedestrians milling about that I was none too keen on but the main problem was I was broken before I started

I think the event on the 11th October would be the most appropriate.

I'm getting flashbacks to the bog of doom AR.

I had this random idea of working my way through all the distances but they don't seem to do a challenge for that, it's either 5k - 1/2 mara or 10k - mara.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
