haddi, do you think 9 mins is feasible for next week? If so I can swap you and JW around,he insists he is a ten minute mile and wants to be in my group :p

Gonna get dressed in a mo and try a run outside, am supposed to do 6 miles this week but think I will try the four and a half mile route and see how i get on. As I have only managed one running session on the treadie in the last couple of weeks think that is more sensible.

5.12 miles in under an hour and I ran 90-95% of it!!! I am on a real high. Felt comfortable - I am sure those compression socks make it worse for me. Feel a bit sick now I have stopped though, maybe that is the ginger tea! Had a nice shower so best get dressed again and get on with dinner. Roast Beef today and sod it, as I have done over 5 miles I am gonna do some roast potatoes with it :-)

Hope everyone running today has a good run :-)

Well done hls that is some good running. I am never sure whether to wear X socks during running. I have been advised to wear them after. Actually got them on now after my 10 mile LSR

Had a great run today. I PB'd and it was really hilly! Not sure of my time yet, will wait for the official results. My watch said 1:11:45, but the race clock said 1:11:33 when I finished :-) Brill goodie bag too :-)

Still think fastening the barrier to DaveA is the best option
