NN - they'd get a good view of you by The Honey Bee pub on Altrincham Road (b4 1mi mark https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/The+Honey+Bee/@53.3417451,-2.2683003,16z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0000000000000000:0x8405ba52d62e6999), and then could walk down Morley Green Rd to the crossroads with Mobberley Rd to see you near the finish. BUT parking is likely to be a problem, unless they manage to get one of the very limited spaces on the left of the roundabout after the Airport tunnel and then walk up the hill past the Airport Inn hotel to the Honey Bee.

Alternatively, they could go through Hale and then Ashley and watch you pass at the junction of Breach House Lane & Pepper St (@6mi mark https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Tithe+Barn+Farm/@53.3398296,-2.3385181,16z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0000000000000000:0x793ec1e836bf4060), but again I've no idea where they'd park.

Finally, they could leave home once the race has started and park on Kings Road (the starting straight) once it's reopened, and walk to the finish (but it's usually pretty busy).

I would stay away from Kings Rd as it will remain closed to all but residents until 2pm and even then it will be at the eye of the traffic jams.

Best idea might be train to Mobberley - if you study the route map and your timings that puts them close enough for 2 or 3 run pasts.

On top of the rubbish performance, last time I did it I was supposed to meet my sister at the finish as she was carrying stuff for me including my car keys. I spotted her in the field just as I crossed the finish line, she seemed to mysteriously disappear by the time I actually got there. I didn't feel too good and I was walking around that field in circles for about 45 mins looking for her. After most people had left, I gave up searching and walked back to the cark park and saw her relaxing in the car with the music blasting on the stereo..I was a bit miffed to say the least.

So how did everyone do? Turned out to be a nice day but hard work for me to nip in under 1.45.

Well run guys. Nice to see you NN. I ran 76.14 - a full 2 mins slower than last year - but about par given injury and training.

It is indeed a great event. And the weather helped.
