The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

I've sent C and N a few spreadsheets but we should get together over beer to discuss further.

Whilst the groups are increasing (put a deadline on it) you should think about team captains. they are vital. Last years were brilliant:

I am all signed up as a runner. This year I promise I will not turn up at Fetchpoint an emotional wreck ( there was tears and snot everywhere), unless I do,and then i'm sure you will handle it as wonderfully as last year!

First London for me since my first marathon in 2009. Really looking forward to it! I'm pacing 8m/m (sub-3:30) from the green start. Is that where all the z-list slebs are?

Some fetchies are here to support specific people. They'll start to filter away once their runner is through. The rest of us will stick around until the flood slows to a trickle; at which point some of the folks who have been there since dawn will start to head off. We will always make sure that there are enough people there until every one of our runners has been accounted for.
