I’ve been using an arm band HRM for the last week and my 190+ Max seemed to have dropped to 170+

Did some intervals today 177 max
Did the same ones a bit slower on 9th Nov over the same route and reached 197

Just the wrist based optical! Always accepted the odd spike but once it went up it would never come down even if I slowed to a walk.
I’m confident this one is working.

Garmin optical is useless beyond basic lifestyle, I would discount all data from the wrist watch done during a hard effort

Fenix 6 has been better but I still put a strap on as soon as I think I will work harder

Even my easy on the watch was showing high but the first week with the polar seems to be matching what I’m feeling.

Girlfriend uses a Wahoo arm band and that does seem to work well
