Post run runny nose & sneezing

Hollyfairyelephant May 2012 9:19am, 15 May 2012 638 posts	0 Hollyfairyelephant Do any of my fellow runners suffer with post nasal run and sneezing? Why does this happen? Or I am alone in this and a bit weird (well weirder than I am already) Any of our resident "docs" care to explain this phenomenon? Any tips on reducing the likelihood of this happening each time I run? It lasts an hour or so after. Many thanks Curious of Oxon

Hollyfairyelephant May 2012 10:05am, 15 May 2012 639 posts	0 Hollyfairyelephant This has always happened to me, DeeGee. I suffer with perennial rhinitis anyway (a disadvantage of living in the Thames Valley apparently) and am asthmatic (but very well controlled).

My nose runs all the time when running & I've just been out this morning & it's still flowing, getting through loads of tissues Very annoying but I just accept that this is the way my nose is, been like it as long as I can remember.
