Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Struggled today but what a great atmosphere and a really scenic route. Great to meet AmblingAndrew, Roz and Tabasco en route :-)

Well done to everyone who PB'd today .

Highest heartrate achieved about Mile 3 when the horses wanted to cross the route; it was like running with the bulls at Pamplona :-)

I managed a 10 minute PB. Thank you Corona. x

Oh and I finished in a good mood, which was my only aim.

A great run today, except for the scare when we were nearly mown down by galloping horses which crossed over the road in front of us. My Garmin measured the race as 10.09 miles. My Garmin time was 1.26.36 and a big improvement over last years 1.29.00. This is one of my favourite races and is always very well organised and marshalled. Three water stations were also very welcome.

Lexa, you were in a very good mood. You did brilliantly, especially in your dress :-) Those peanuty things were yummy, I wish I had taken a handful.

The stampeding horses added a certain edge. Great race, lovely to meet K8 and adrianb1066.I'm liking the shiny horse brass too :)

As a newbie, I thought I'd use my first post to thank people for being friendly at the NF10 today. Lots to keep me amused; running horses (dramatic), oversized cattle (doing what cows to best when I ran past - no doubt a comment on my running style...) and a nice ice cream 'van' at the finish. I have a vague recollection that the local rag (possibly the Southern Daily Echo) publishes pics and finishing times for those interested.
