Oooh race numbers... mine hasn't arrived yet. I'm sure it all feels very real now to those who have numbers and are in it for their first marathon. I'm still in denial.

Bit too imminent. I do NOT feel prepared for this one.

Ach! It'll be fine. When you're at the start you know you'll make it to the finish. (That's what I tell myself.) I'm a little underprepared too - long run tomorrow and next Sunday - then taper time.

I'm doing 20ish tomorrow then my plan says to start tapering. But because of time out earlier on, am thinking of going longish next weekend too.

I was looking at 16-18 tomorrow. 18-20 next weekend. Then slamming the brakes on #:oD
Probably 12 the following Sunday following on from a 10K event on the Saturday. A real easy last week.
I'm feeling ok about it, I guess. I ran the Rome Marathon in March and had suffered from some knee niggles which meant I hadn't even ran (only x-trained) in the four weeks before the marathon. I think that's why I feel like I'm still catching up with myself: though I'm not chasing missed miles or anything.

I missed a lot of miles in March and April, when i should have been hitting peak mileage. Its my second ever marathon, so i know i can do it, i just don't know if i can do it quicker than my first one, as I'd hoped.
How was Rome?
