"Claire Chambers, Basildon's Sports Development Officer at Basildon Sporting Village is currently looking for volunteers to help in the set up of a weekly 'Park Run' event. For those that don't know, Park Run is a national network of free 5k races set up and maintained purely by volunteers and held every Saturday morning across the country. Anyone wishing to offer there support for this event can contact Claire at BSV directly on 01268 722460. If you'd like more information on the Park Run series and where to find other events around the country visit www.parkrun.org for full details."
