Been a week outside my usual routine, visiting family in Ipswich followed by two days in London. Not much running. Had an eye on 100 miles each month for 2025 but have fallen at the May hurdle. Bit of a slow start to the month after the Manchester marathon and then a disrupted final week, saw me close on 85. Since last updating it's 9 to add making Ytd: 560.1 |

Hope your other half is feeling better soon, Lesley. 12km on Sat at a fair clip, and 11.5km recovery on Sunday. Just local runs along the water and through a park. Happy weekend running everybody. |

beneficial Donnie1. I've been lucky to get over 100 a month again during May but 85 is excellent innit?! Good to note you're doing a fair clip Jack. 4.3 miles mainly on trail this morning; fabulous morning too . Heavy rain forecast for tomorrow. |

Sorry that I've been AWOL again, honestly I cannot keep up with my pace of life at times. What an absolute shame about Comrades/2 Oceans @Dubairunner to lose the races but also flights/hotel is awful. I don't blame your running dropping off over summer. I hope your partner is ok Lesley and well done on missing the rain. Continued great running steve, hs, Lesley, Andy, Jack and I totally get life getting in the way Donnie - the space running used to take up pre op has been hijacked by life so fitting in my runs feels tricker at the moment. Hope Loo, Peter, FF, EdG are all doing well also. I did get out for 6m yesterday, in January I managed 4 runs of 6m and yesterday was the fastest of them all!! I am trying to concentrate on pacing well we don't have Lesley type hills but lots of quad busting inclines and I'm trying to come back a stronger runner than I was previously. Physio tomorrow and hoping I can then start to add in some training sessions rather than just running. Although I am more than happy to be back out. I ended off May with 101 walking miles and 56 running miles!! Way more than I could have ever hoped to have done so the patience in the early recovery has totally paid off. |

Well done Donnie1 for your 9 miles and 560.1 miles to date. Well done JackFW for your 12k at a fair clip, and 11.5 k recovery on Sunday. Well done Steve for your 4.3 miles, mainly on trails this morning. Thanks, Sundays 5.1 miles was at a steady pace, but with efforts on the up and down hills. Well done GG for yesterday's 6 miles, which was quicker than the four 6 miles in January. Mays 101 walking miles, and 56 running miles is impressive. This morning was a quality 7.31 miles in the forest with Sarah H and Giuliana. This included 1 lap of the 800 metres track, 2 laps of the 1k track, run out and back. I'm just back from my 6 monthly check up with the Hygienist. He has recently taken up running, so he spent much of the session talking about it and asking me for advice. |
