Braintree and District Athletic Club is actively promoting running for all in the community, and to this end we have introduced a Road Running section within the club.
This is for all standards, from beginner to experienced runner. We recognise that road runners look to gain different things from the sport, such as social running, general fitness, doing the London Marathon, or participating in the Race For Life.
We have a team of experienced male and female, UKA Level 1 to Level 3 qualified coaches to support you as an individual and to ensure your needs are met. When you come along, our coaches will work with you to help you achieve what you want out of running..
The club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays for varied training sessions.
and we encourage groups to meet for runs at other times to suit their own needs.
We have a friendly, sociable and safe environment for all our runners, and most of all, we encourage respect, equality and support for everyone.
Running is great for fitness, wellbeing and also for meeting new friends. Come and give us a try, and you will be made very welcome.
