About Me

I have been running on and off for the last 10 years or so. I have always enjoyed it but never have taken it that seriously before until after 2012 - the Olympics put some fire in my belly and inspired me - so I have entered a lot more 10k's, Half Marathon's and ran my first marathon in York in October 2013 - which was tough but one of the best things I have ever done.

Plans for the future and long term goals - keep running and competing in races, try and get quicker in the process. Targets achieved / still outstanding from 2014:
Sub 20 5K - achieved Sub 40 10k - achieved Sub 90 Half Marathon (still outstanding - not far off though with my pb- 1:32) Sub 3:30 Marathon - achieved
So aim for 2015 is to achieve the sub 90 half marathon and go sub 39 minute 10K.
I also have a few bike challenges set for 2015 - Ride the BOS, 206 miles over four days but with 15,600 ft of climbing. Wolds Way Challenge and hopefully sign up to a few more.
Still haven't taken part in a triatholon yet so would be good if I could one this year.
