About Me

Started running Mid-April 2006 to help get the weight off, and got hooked! Feel healthier and fitter than I have in years.2007 started half marathon training, finding it tough but do-able. June 07 Beat my PB for 10k! Sept 07 knocked another 7 mins off! weight still coming off, albeit very slowly. May 08 - completed 1st Half Marathon! Veeeery Sloooooowly -but hey, that means I can only get faster? right?

2010 - still struggling with calf issues -1 step forward and 2 steps back, however PT is doing his best to put it right and try not to kill me in the process!
2011 - going to try and pick up my running properly and run a half marathon again later in the year:)
