Started running round 2000 as part of a weight loss program. Hated running before then, so needed to start off with run/jog program building up to jogging for 30mins. Over the next 22 months I managed to shift from 16st 5lb to 12st2lb. Now I bounce around 13 stones
Injury and travelling have made it difficult to run regularly, but I still managed to run the Reading Half Marathon in under 2 hours (in 2009). It was my 3rd attempt
My next goal is to run a 10K in under 45 mins, half marathon in 1hour 45minutes or less and return to being around 12 stones.
