Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Caz. Stopped after 5K (24:25) due to overheating, wore too many layers and took too long to adjust clothing. Gave up reluctantly as knew my time would be disappointing.

DIY Diva Post-marathon so thought it would be a shuffle. V pleased to 'feel' good although glutes were killing from Karen's workshop the previous day.

mystique100 Preparation was not ideal for the race due to several injuries. It was a mistake to have had a deep tissue message so close to the day of the run. Calves felt sore during the run.

Poots Felt like busted bum at 3k, then was mislead by clock at 5k into thinking I was doing better than I was - had the right effect clearly! Very surprised at time. Ankle bit sore today, but perhaps a steadier lead up would have avoided that?

tazzzman Haven't run a 10k in a while, recently broke my marathon and half marathon P.B's so thought I would give this a go. Won entry in a brooks competition recently. Oh and check me out on page 25 on Novembers running fitness magazine!!

Reasonable time considering I'd been suffering from a chest infection for over 2 weeks.

Zehnderboy Just fell short of a PB :-( but a WAVA PB :-)
Was a very warm race and very flat but just relentless pushing.
I gave this all I had today so have no complaints, just wish I hadn't lost those 2 weeks to injury. Hope to break 45 next year.
