I'm 46, mum of two fab kids, have two crazy dogs and I work as a Teaching Assistant and Librarian at a High School.
Took up running in 2000 to lose weight and get fit. Got bitten by the running bug and went on to run 10ks, half mara's and FLM in 2003 and 2004.
Lost my mojo for a while.
Throw into the mix emigrating to New Zealand, separating from hubby of 19 years, coming back to UK as a single parent, sorting out new home, new job etc.....
So..... yeah..... that was four years ago. Now it's time to start again. Turned 46 and decided to get back out there. Am taking it slow and steady and am looking optimistically to the future.
