Got a bit hooked on running in 2005 (blame Santababy and Runners World forums) and went from zero to a very slow 10 mile race (which nearly killed me). Started doing two hour runs, then started getting a bad back and knees and it all went downhill from there. I rejoined the gym to do some different work-outs and ignored the treadmill for quite a while. Have done very little running in the last two years. Am slowly getting back on the treadmill, and hope to get back outside soon - but don't hold you breath! Ha!
