Notes & Comments

I just knew that my form was nowhere near last year's, mainly due to not taking diet as seriously. However in the event I was pleased to be only 1 minute 21 seconds slower and I managed a more sustained finish. At mile 5 I passed a number of people including Nasser, a guy from the Park Runs who really pushed me at the end. I managed to hold him off by just one second. We were really lucky with the weather. It had been pouring all morning, but stopped in time for the race. Not as many sub 5 minute kilometeres this year, but still plenty to work with !! A really enjoyable race.
