Moray Marathon. Gave up on any notions of a decent time at the turn onto the coast road @ Burghead - 20mph head- and cross-winds for the next 14.5 miles made sub 3:45 a distant dream. On my own for most of the race. Rescheduled for sub-4, but unfortunately the wind took too much out of me & couldn't hang on at the end. Bah. Tired, and no good time to show for it

Thanks Karen :-). I was pretty gutted when I crossed the finish line, which isn't a very positive mindset after 4 hours of trying one's best! I had been hoping that all the training this year would have produced a better time, but of course the weather gods have their own agenda
