Notes & Comments

Stratford Marathon. Decided to really attack a 3.10 time and was aiming to average 7.10s to look for 3.08 with a couple of minutes in the bank. Was 30sec up on that at half way, but after the big hill at 18/19 just had nothing left in the legs. Worked hard for another couple of miles, but by 21 it was clear 3.10 was out of the window, so just eased right back and enjoyed the Greenway (that said, even 9 min pace felt hard by then - those early quick miles really took their toll!).
