Owler Marathon: 4:00:59 Pos: 23/65

I won't be doing this again, but I'm having a great laugh winding the race director up.

I ran the full distance, but had to put an extra lap around the Julie Rose athletics track because the race director was so thick that she couldn't work out that she'd missed a 400 metre loop out.

This was pretty easy and I went off at a good pace, but was tired today due to this being my 4th marathon in 5 weeks. I wasn't bothered about breaking 4 hours, but am actually quite pleased with this because it was easy and had it been a road marathon I would have broken 4 hours with a jog today.

As it were, this was a dirty and very muddy in places trail marathon (with long stretches of road at times).

Anyway, a shambles of an event with a race director who doesn't understand that two halves make a whole.

I won't be back and I'll make sure that all my marathon mates know to avoid this one.
