TBAC 5K Time Trial - June

LukeStur Fantastic Race tonight. Minuses - very hot - dry mouth from the word go; very painful feet - ran in cross country spikes without the spikes! Pluses - perfectly paced 3:30 for 1st km bang on. Steady for next 2k then a good 4th km battling with 14 year old who didn't want me to get in front. Then really upp'ed my pace for the last km (up hill), dropped the kid, then chased down Stu H, Ian C, Dave C and finally on the last stretch Steve R. 10th to 4th in final k with a final split of 3.19! Cloud 9 - next stop sub 17mins. Splits (HR) : 3:30(156) 3.25(163) 3.38(167) 3.22(166) 3.17(170)

Pathtower 5K time trial session. 21.24 - very, very hot, felt parched but kept going. Warm down was two laps of St John's field.
