Hills of Death (HOD) Very local race - need to beat my Mate who's not normally a runner (footballer) doing this in favour of the club champs race i.e Felstead. Well I beat my mate just 13 secs did not have a good run really. 1st half ok slow about 30 secs a mile second half. Not good. Met a few fetchies they all had good runs. automatic shoes Oh b*gger ! I was still on target at half way (25:44) - but was already slowing down. At about 3k I became aware of a twinge at the top of the back of my left leg, which just became more and more uncomfortable as time went on.
