Diogenes More hilly and congested than I imagined hence the slower time as walking was necessary in places. Nearly got taken out by a lady with 3 dogs and a small boy on a bike near the end. Great fun! Roll on next year (By the way FE, this is a 3.5 mile race, not a 5k, so I'm not quite as slow as I appear :-) )

Eternal plodder fifty very very long minutes, much longer that I expected it to take even taking into account the stoppages as we all filtered down the one person wide lane but it was fun, not at the time but sat in the warm afterwards!

MadJonny 3.5 hilly miles, mostly off-road but not too muddy. The hill after 1.5 was a bit of a killer. Opted out of the drinking race, but made up for it in the Crown & Cushion afterwards.

McGoohan Was quite fun but things I could have done without were: a) being overtaken by a small child b) being overtaken by a man with a dog (he carried it at the start) c) rain d) cold e) my hangover f) my relative unfitness Definitely do it again next year :)
