Spans This was the Welsh Championship 5k race, so the 400mile round trip was combined with a weekend away. Not a great race, as my pacing was all over the place due to the lack of mile or km markers BUT it was the Welsh Championships, and if it hadn't been for the 16 year old Non Stanford and the U23 Helen Tucker (welsh triathlete), I would have won... but instead I got the Bronze medal!!! It looks good, it feels good and it's a national championship medal!
