We Love Manchester 10k 2013

Nelly Feb 2013 3:15pm, 26 Feb 2013 758 posts	0 Nelly The wholly inappropriately named (IMHO) "We Love Manchester" 10k is back again for 2013, and they're doing half price entry £8/£9 again if you enter before 15/03 sportstoursinternational.co.uk I was supposed to do it last year, but ended up spending the night before in A&E with Mrs.Nelly. So who else is tempted to take advantage of the cheap entry?

I've just seen that the information booklet says the race car park gate will be closed for the full duration of the race. So can anyone recommend somewhere to park that will be easy to get away from at the end? For anyone in South Manchester, it is worth adding that due to Engineering Works there are no trams between Altrincham and Manchester on either Saturday or Sunday, so the tram is not an option.
