'' Its not that cold" from EX wife - after finishing Great North Run last year, me dressed in a vest and shorts - teeth chattering . Her in Jeans, Hoody and Jacket! Glad its just me and the dog now tbf.

i do get lots of compliments - more so when running pushing Phillip - it appears to impress peeps and they ask us allsorts - at races or training

solo running, well thats the chance u take- usually it's good comments-

but some are not, or were not, as i dont get out much solo now a days

but i always try to acknowledge polite encouraging public

but what i'd call ( society's tossers ) i simply ignore- and think, you chase me if u wish, but i'm going to have the last laugh - i'll be running with ease long after they've colapsed to their knees

After a recent 5K, a runner came up to me and said he enjoyed running behind me because my stride looked so effortless. If he had been in front of me, he would have heard me wheezing and gasping!
