Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

sorry , not quite a compliment in the first place .. but more, stupid things to say to a person wearing shorts and a vest on a cold day thread.

A bloke at work told me I should be wearing a cardie and slippers at my age, not running around Almost Naked.

"Screw you and the horse you rode in on", quoth I. :-p

i do get lots of compliments - more so when running pushing Phillip - it appears to impress peeps and they ask us allsorts - at races or training

solo running, well thats the chance u take- usually it's good comments-

but some are not, or were not, as i dont get out much solo now a days

but i always try to acknowledge polite encouraging public

but what i'd call ( society's tossers ) i simply ignore- and think, you chase me if u wish, but i'm going to have the last laugh - i'll be running with ease long after they've colapsed to their knees

After a recent 5K, a runner came up to me and said he enjoyed running behind me because my stride looked so effortless. If he had been in front of me, he would have heard me wheezing and gasping!

Got something to say?
