I think this will be my 5th Freckleton in a row. It's a great race and I love it.
I can't decide whether to go for a PB (sub 1:45) or whether to take it easy and enjoy the race. I may just decide on the day depending on how hot or not it is.
RJR - last year I put so much sunscreen on I look like a ghost in one photo.

eeeek! no number yet, but going for a run later (late afternoon, early evening), keep the legs going incase I end up racing.
smileybob's informed me he unfortunately cannot 'abusepoint', because it's fathers' day - bad times if i can't abusepoint due to getting a number, i can ask another fetchie to do it who'll be there photo-ing the event - good times

Oh, this is next Sunday now, isn't it... Crikey...
Feel rather underprepared - not lacking in miles, just rather the logistics of how to get to the course since my mum has a fair to go to instead in Salmesbury...
We do get a for this race, right?

Noobs I'd rather be abusepointing but OH has made other plans JK they tend to give out something a bit different at Freck

Smileybob, maybe you can compromise with the OH's plans being around the morning and evening, leaving the afternoon to abusepoint?
JamieKai, why so worried about the goody bag, lol Last year's finisher's prize was a rucksack with the race name on it (I have used this as my race bag since), and the year before, we got a towel I was informed that the year before, they handed out sportsbags. I quite like this about Freckleton, they hand out a useful memento of the day, rather then a bottle of juice with a cereal bar (which is not a bad thing, but it's nice to get something different).

That sounds less ominous than "something a bit different"...
